‘Raj Roti’ Food Distribution Program for poor people inaugurated at Mulund

Shrimad Rajchandra Aatma Tatva Research Centre and Smt. Nirmala Devi Jain, owner of ‘Nirmal Lifestyle’ today formally inaugurated the “Raj Roti” a subsidized Food service program which provides hot meals to the poor and needy at a token amount of Rs. 5/- per Meal. The program at the renovated premises was inaugurated by Smt. Nirmala Devi Jain and Chief Guest Shri Manilalbhai Kunwarji Gada in presence of Shree Prem Acharyaji (Param Pujya Pappaji).

This subsidized Food Program will be carried out daily from Mulund centre which is located at Jawahar Talkies Compound, Mulund West. The food is served to first 75 visitors each day from 11 am to 1 pm. The Meal comprises of 6 Wheat Rotis and cooked vegetable packed hygienically. The program aims to make a difference to the lives of ‘working- poor’ class of people by serving them a simple meal at a minimal cost.

This program initially started as a pilot project with the blessings of ‘Param Pujya Pappaji’. The overwhelming response was observed by Smt. Nirmala Devi Jain, who came forward to support the cause and offered their premises to carry out this activity.

Shrimad Rajchandra Aatma Tatva Research Centre undertakes several socio-economic development projects for one of the most backward and undeveloped area in and around Parli in Sudhagad Taluka of Maharashtra’s Raigad District. Raj Roti program is an addition to such projects. With collective efforts the Centre aims to take this service across the city. The organisation believes that it can help and touch lives of many a people in different ways just by taking care of this one primary requirement, ‘Food’.
